I saw a similar piece on Pinterest and made it my own.
The original is much classier I think but I am happy with my version as well.
I painted the canvas then cut my tree in vinyl. after applying the tree I placed my buttons, moving them around until I was happy with the placements.
I then used my Scotch glue to put them all on.
